if you have cherry cabinets in the kitchen-

hey everyone

if your kitchen cabinets are cherry wood, what color backsplash/tiles do you have?

can you post pics?

also- do you have stainless steel appliances and do you regret them?

im feeling like i might regret them because i Know there are going to be fingerprints Everywhere at all times...

We did a Gold/Tan/Cream Glass Backsplash and we have Black Galaxy Granite. Also we have Stainless steel appliances. I love them

we're most likely doing cream tile as a backsplash we are doing tyhoon bourdeuax as the granite so we wanted to do something more subdued for the backsplash

We did a tumbled travertine(cream marble) subway tile backsplash-it is very clean, timeless and we feel like it won't go out of style. I have all SS appliances and the only thing I regret but didn't do due to cost was panel my fridge. The prints from the constant use of my fridge drives me nuts. Not one regret doing the dark cabinets though. It looks so rich and elegant IMO.

we have cherry cabinets with a honey glaze. So they're not the dark cherry.

we have a metallic tile backsplash w/glass accents

(I don't regret my stainless appliances at all)

My first house we did the kitchen over and we did dark cherry cabinents and 2x2 tumbled marbe backsplash with uba tuba granite (very very dark green) It was beautiful! and SS appliances.

This house the kitchen was all redone already and was exact opposite buttercup cabinets and brown and gold speckled granite with the same tumbled marbe backspash.

The upkeep is def less with the light cabinets I find bc you dont see the dust as quickly

But I happen to miss my dark cabinents bc they were sooo rich looking.

SS is SS..fingerprints are gonna happen.

We have cherry cabinets with stainless steel appliances and we love the look. We're still trying to decide on backsplash and paint color. There are so many options, I can't decide.

We have cherry cabinets. We dont have a backsplash; the entire back wall is a quartz stone wall.......various light/earthy colors.

We also have stainless and have no regrets one bit. They dont show fingerprints as much as you think.

we have a lighter colored tile, it's kind of tannish/greenish

we picked half stainless/half black appliances, but our fridge is all black.

This is the only picture I have that's around...

But it is a dark granite counter top. The walls are a dark cranberry and we have just regular appliances.

I do agree with you. My parents have stainless steel and you have to be on top of it.
