Re: If you had an easy DC#1....

Ryan was fairly easy, Colin easier. My only qualm with Ryan was 6 months to STTN. Colin took 7 - but a joy otherwise Chat Icon

Re: If you had an easy DC#1....

Definitely YES!

DD was a complete angel....STTN at 8 weeks; from day 1 ate anything, had maybe 2 tantrums ever & never got into stuff.

DS on the other hand didn't STTN until about 13 weeks; STILL doesn't eat anything but baby food (at 20 months), climbs on everything, is into everything, went through a period of tantrums & is my little tornado.

Of course! Chat Icon I already have it on the calendar to bug you in September.

I figure we set them loose in the field and have Nate and Lucas collect them at the end. Then while we eat donuts on the ride back they can sleep! Chat Icon

or we get leashes for them Chat Icon

DS#2 is NUTS!! But in a good way. He is so full of energy and has the best personality but he really can drive me to drink!
He is a perfect example of street angel house devil but no one makes me laugh like he does!Chat Icon

Re: If you had an easy DC#1....

uh oh this thread is making me nervous...DD was a very very easy baby, not so much as a toddler....
Does this mean I'll get a hard baby and and easy toddler the next?!?!?!?!?!

She is very happy and easy going like DS was, but she already (at 9 mos) seems to be a lot more of a daredevil than him. I think I'm in trouble with this one Chat Icon

Re: If you had an easy DC#1....

nope, they were both laid back babies. But DC#1 is now heading at full blown steam into the terrible 2's and she is beyond raising hell right now.

Same here - DD#1 is high spirited and strong willed - but DD#2 is a dream.

Re: If you had an easy DC#1....

Madelyn was my easiest baby- fell right into a predictable routine. Had a witching hour in the evening. But she is my toughest toddler. She's stubborn and a shrieker and a picky eater.

Eliza was my WORST newborn. She cried all day unless she was held. Was up every 2 hours to eat until she was 5 months old. Once she hit about 9 months she turned into a DREAM. Good sleeper, eater, and very compliant.

TJ falls somewhere in the middle so far. He was a fusspot- but only at night before bed. He his "eh" with sleeping, but getting there. At 4 months he turned into a smiley, happy angel. He's so cute now (6 months) I almost hate putting him to sleep at night because I just love cuddling with him.

Re: If you had an easy DC#1....

I didn't know how to answer this.

Jack is much more touch - mentally. Strong willed, stubborn, hardheaded.

Tyler, for the most part is very easy going.

Jack was much more chilled out. Could sit and watch TV and snuggle.

Tyler is into every little thing, and doesn't sit for one second.

No. They were different, but both were equally good babies, good eaters and most importantly, good sleepers!
