when did you stop wearing your ring??

I'm right now 32 weeks along (JUST reached 8 months) and today when i went to take off my ring it was quite a struggle!!!! I've never had that happen before. I ended up only getting it off after running my finger under warm water. I don't know if i'm just bloaded from the holidays or if this is actually the beginning of what most every pregnant woman faces. Maybe I shouldn't risk wearing it anymore (as I don't want it to get uncomfortably STUCK).

How far along were you when you had to make the decision to no longer wear your wedding ring?

I am in the exact same situation. I am 31 weeks and just took mine off 2 days ago. It was a struggle to get it off so I figured I might as well stop wearing it voluntarily now instead of having to get it cut off in a few weeks

At my 30 week appointment, my doctor told me to take it off and not even try to put it back on. I'd been struggling with it for a few weeks already but really didn't want to.

I went out and bought a fake band from JC Penney's for $7 because I couldn't bare not to have a ring on at all. My ering is a 5.75 and my wedding band is a 6... the fake ring I got is an 8... and now at the very end... the fake ring BARELY fits anymore.

I'm so scared I'll never be able to wear my beautiful rings again... I want to know my fingers will shrink back! Sigh.

I'm not even that bloated, but apparently my fingers are. Sometimes they do look kinda red and sausage-like. Oh well. Part of the process.

But take the ring off before it gets stuck. It's not worth it to have to get it surgically removed.

probably around 28 weeks I can still get them on but at the end of the day I am so swollen I am afraid they will get stuck

I am 38 weeks and miraculously, the rings still fit fine. I have no swelling at all. My pain to bear is my varicose veins. I have had on medical support hose since September...everyone has something crappy to deal with, right?

I'm actually still wearing mine at 40w3d and it fits exactly the way it did before I was pregnant. I never expected to be able to go this long.

Didn't stop with DS and haven't so far this time and I'm going on 37 weeks. Some days my finger is more swollen than other so I might not put it on but I give it a shot every day.

stopped wearing mine at 35 weeks. My e-ring fits because its slightly larger but my wedding band is smaller and doesnt even make it half way on my finger...

i'm 33 weeks, and i can still take it off and on with no problem. however, my doctor told me it's a wise idea to keep it off from now on. i don't wear it to bed ever, and i'm trying to start not wearing it in general...it's hard though, i'm so used to it!

I haven't yet at 32 weeks. . they are still okay. . had 1 week where they got really really stuck but i was having a super water retention week that week. .

I am keeping an eye out though bc I agree it's not worth getting them stuck

I wore my rings my entire pregnancy with DS#1... Don't know if that will happen with this one... but 28 weeks now and they still fit fine.

5 years ago when I was pregnant with my DS

They have never fit again .....In the meantime I got myself a solid gold wedding band in a bigger size I've been wearing and plan on getting my E-ring and wedding band resized after this baby is born !

With DS, I wore mine right through the whole of my 42 week pregnancy. My fingers never really swelled.

At 23wks mine still fit but bc my wedding band is a diamond eternity band I was already warned by a jewler that if it gets stuck and has to be cut off it will completely mangle the ring so I guess the min it feels too tight Ill stop wearing it.

im 32 weeks and my rings are still on and loose! soooo happy about this!

At 34 weeks, I'm still wearing mine-my fingers are a little swollen-but my rings are still able to slip on and off without a struggle.

i am only 20 weeks but mine fit fine so we will see

Whatever week was thanksgiving. I think that's 27 weeks.

13 weeks pregnant I was ridiculously swollen.
