Shortness of Breath and Head Rushes?

Did you ladies experience this more with twins? I had none of these symptoms with Reilly and this pregnancy I feel so winded, any time I bend down to put her coat on, or for any reason, I get up and I have to take a second to regroup. Sometimes I have to sit down and take a break. It's almost as if I feel week. I feel like it's way too soon I am only 12 weeks. Anyone else have this??

OMG YES!

Me and Jmf423 on here used to complain to each other Hourly how bad it was. Mine started like yours at around 12 weeks, and I will be honest, it didnt get any easier, but you do learn to work around it/live with it.

I was out of breath just peeing!

I went to the OB for it twice specifically. He explained it as the extra blood flow makes your lungs work even harder as your heart is worker harder, so its double what one baby would do.

Thank you so much for your reply. I was starting to think something was wrong with me. I was going to ask him about anemia or something. I honestly can't believe how week and faint I feel even just waking up. It is par for the course I guess!

from the beginning I felt that way. Faint, light-headed, out of breath. It use to scare me, but all was fine. All my checkups were normal with normal blood pressure, etc.

I do feel out of breath ALOT. And I'm huffing, puffing, grunting, & groaning when I have to do something like put on socks & shoes. Chat Icon I'm guessing it will only get worse going forward. I'm in so much trouble! Chat Icon

Re: Shortness of Breath and Head Rushes?

I am a teacher, and I always feel out of breath while I am teaching. I have to remember to slow down and breathe! I am sure my students don't mind, because I usually talk really fast! I have also been feeling really restless at times and have a weird tingling in my lips. My blood pressure has been fine, but it is annoying.

I fainted countless times in the first trimester. I would get nauseaus and then lightheaded and then kinda get fuzzy for a minute or two. It would go away and then it was like it never happened. Never happened with my singleton pregnancy.
