Pergo/laminate Installer ?
Can anyone recco anyone to install laminate? I know it's easy, but Dh just isn't up to it.
After having about 8 estimates to put hardwood down, I realized we are crazy and should get laminate. Just about all the guys who came to give estimates saw my son playing on the existing wood floor with his hot wheel cars and toys and mentioned that perhaps it would be a good idea to go for laminate in the upstairs...especially since we plan on getting a doggie soon. This also plans on being our forever home, so no rush to get hardwood just now.

Re: Pergo/laminate Installer ?
I would go with wood. We got laminate and in the store they show you the how it doesnt scratch yada yada, well at home yes it does. I dropped a toy, now theres a dent. You move furniture you can see the scratch lines. my kids playing with their toys you can see the scratch lines. now 3 years later I have to have it replaced. when i do I am spending the money on wood. My sister has wood and omg with her 5 kids even if it does dent a little you can fill it in and it looks brand new. scratch gets filled in looks like new. I'd rather make the investment now if you can. I am def calling who I gave you though, to do it, in january. I cant stand looking at these floors anymore.
