Farewell Pacifier

Tonight is night 3 of no paci for DS. Yes he is 3Chat Icon He was so attached and such an awesome sleeper I hated to take it away. Then the new baby came and I didn't want to disrupt his life more then necesssary and she had one so it seemed mean to take his.

Anyway, it wasn't in his bed on Thurs and I decided to just go cold turkey. He has slept great for 2 nights and only asked for it a little. Right now, though, he is crying for it and it's breaking my heartChat Icon I am TRYING to stand firm and not go back! This is even harder than when he gave up the "ba-ba"Chat Icon

Re: Farewell Pacifier

we took away DDs when she was 3 too. It was a struggle for 2 or 3 nights and now its barely a memory in her head. They forget quickly.Chat Icon
