Newborn Photography
I am a little disappointed. I emailed summerlyn and left a voicemail for her. Each a week apart and I have not heard back anything. If she is booked, I would at least expect a courtesy call to let me know. The funny thing is that I never told her my due date.
I really loved her photos. Can anyone recommend any other photographers? I wasnt that impressed by AvaJack's website but if someone has their own photos I am open to sugesstions. just want great photos of my little one.

This actually happened to me..I called her AND emailed and NO RESPONSE for over a week and a half  I was so turned off when she FINALLY got around to emailing me back I would NEVER book her. i know you are busy but customer service means a lot to me. PS she actaully was available for my date but i didnt book her because I was sooo turned off.
I actually found someone that emailed me right back and was so sweet..she said congratulations, something SL didnt even do.
I am looking forward to my newborn shoot with a photographer that acts like she wants my business. FM me for info if you would like. I guess its all who you click with too!

there are many talented photogs on here, find someone you mesh well with and go with them
IMHO, no one is glaringly better than another, they all have different styles though

I booked Lexi-Bella. SHe is a vendor on here and does nice work!
i wanted summer lyn in the beginning but in Dec she only shoots out of her studio in port jeff and I didnt want to bring my newborn out in the cold.

according to her website she will travel to you too.
sorry you had a bad experience. i guess i was lucky, she got back to me right away. i am sure you will find someone equally as talented.

sorry port washington.....yes she usualyy travels to you but she sadi in dec she likes to be home with her family so she oly works out of her studio at home and could not come to our house.

we had maria (lexi bella) come take our newborn's pictures- she was not only wonderful, but she was so careful and gentle and sweet... the pictures are amazing and we couldnt have been happier with the way they came out!

I second Shira Z. I had originally booked Ava Jack but the day of the shoot she had to cancel because her LO came down with a stomach virus and she didn't want to expose my DS to any germs. She hooked me up with Shira and at first I was a little apprehensive because I hadn't seen her work but in the end, it was totally unwarranted because I was thrilled with the results!!!! Shira was great with Adam, so patient and responsive. We had a great time. Here's a link to my album if you want to see the pics:

We had our newborn photos done by Sandra from September Blue. She is so sweet and talented and our pictures are amazing!!! My little girl was so late we had to move the date around about 4 times. She is so accomodating and responsive!!!!
