I"m not into tattoos, pregnant or not... but supposing I did want to get one, I wouldn't do it while pregnant because I'd be nervous about developing some kind of infection. They say not to get piercings while pregnant, actually, just for that reason!

I have a tattoo, but I wouldn't get one while I was pg. and i'm pretty flexible with what I do while I'm pg. I'm just going with a no this time around.

That's true! They say not to get tattoos because of the risk of infection. Tattoo artists (most of them) won't tattoo you if you're preggo anyways but thats if you're honest with them (or don't look preggo)..
I know a friend of mine got one and I just don't know if it's worth the risk, KWIM?

I like tattoos, although i dont have one yet. I dont think I would get it done while pregnant though.

i have plenty of tattoos and plan on getting more in the future but would never get one while pregnant since there is a chance of infection

I don't see why anyone would get a tattoo while pregnant. Why not just wait the 9 months.

I got a tattoo on my foot in November and for some reason 1/2 of it is now completely faded off. I kept telling myself that I will get it touched up in Spring/Early Summer when it's flip flop weather. Well, here I am in my 4th month of pregnancy with 1/2 a tattoo on my foot!  As much as it looks absolutely horrible, I would not risk fixing it while pregnant. God forbid I developed a crazy infection or something and jeopardized the life of my LO for some stupid tattoo, I would NEVER forgive myself.
I guess what I am saying is... NO, I would not get a tat while pregnant.

No way! I am not one to follow rules at all but the thought of injecting dye into my body while pregnant- no way.
I think my Dr would have a stroke!
