no.
DH (then boyfriend) and I got matching ones when I was 18 and I've never regretted it. Even if we didn't end up getting married it would have just been a symbol of that time in my life... which was wonderful  Not like I got his name tattooed across my forehead or anything! 
This is the only pic I can find right now (of DH's.... sorry for the randomness but he was doing a triathalon at the time haha) - it's 2 interlocking circles. Mine is on my lower back.

Yes.
It's a small way too dark butterfly on my ankle. My then best friend got the same one. We called it best friend butterfly sisters . Fast forward many years and we now no longer speak and it's a bad memory why. Every time I look at it I think of her and I hate it. I've though of getting it covered several times.

I got one when I was 18 very small on my right shoulder - I don't regret it but it's faded, and I want to update it and have a tattoo honoring my late Aunt who passed away from Pancreatic Cancer.

my first was when i was 24 - while i still like it because it reminds me of that time, and it was my first.. it's not really what i would've chosen for myself now.
i've considered getting it removed, or trying to incorporate it into something else, but its a pretty big black tribal piece, so would be pretty expensive to remove. So.. i live with it 
I've since gotten 4 more

Well I got my first one at 25 on my lower back. I got my own name (Stephanie) in pretty wrting with 2 little flowers on each side. I dont regret it at all since it is my own name..lol.. At least I wont forget my name when Iam 80..

I regret 3 out of 5 of my tattoos. I didn't know that you could let the tattoo artist draw one for you. I wanted to get a daisy and they didn't have one on the wall so I got a sunflower (not really my favorite flower at all), then I wanted a butterfly landing on the flower, but they didn't have one turned sideways so I think they look kind of silly next to each other.
The third one I got I really wanted a shamrock and all they had was a four leaf clover so I got that.
I like my tattoos but really wished I was more informed when I got them and prob would have gotten exactly what I wanted.

Same here except I was 18. It is a shamrock and I still love it 15 years later. I am getting a second one very soon, something for my kids.

I regretted it right away.
Hate tattoos always did. It was a fleeting moment of JUST DO IT.
I was a 17 yr old freshman in my 2nd month at college.
My nutty friend got one with me. She passed away that summer in a car accident. I got a heart bc I love hearts.
Eventhough it is the UGLIEST thing it reminds me of her, so now it is special.

I got one at 18...even then I knew to get one that that is easily covered up, which it is.
It was probably a waste of $200 but hasn't really affected my life negatively.

I got one at 18 and one at 19 and I still love them both (more than 10 years later). If I'm able to complete the NYC Marathon this year, I'm gonna get another one!

I was 18 and no do not regret it.
My art teacher and I collaborated on the pic when I was 15. So I had the image for three years before I actually did it.
