First B2B IUI Tom

Hi girls
a few questions..Dr. B said it didn't matter what time i gave the trigger shot tonight..i have b2b iuis starting tom at 12 pm...I plan on doing it at 9pm tonight is that good?

Im excited to get started! My sister asked me..what the chances of it working? does anyone know? im sure it depends on a case by case senerio!

if the dr didn't tell you a time, then 9 pm should be fine. as far as the success of IUI, i have read/heard so many different things and i think it depends on your situation but it's somewhere around 15-20%. but try not to focus on the numbers.

Good luck!! I have always done my triggers at 9pm before b2b IUIs!! That's when Dr.B tells me to do them!

As far as the success rate.. it really depends. I have heard of plenty of people having luck after their first....... second....... I am currently on my third

I'm starting my b2b IUIs for this cycle tomorrow at 11:30! We'll be cycle buddies! On my first IUI, which was last month, Dr B told me to do the trigger shot the night before, around 9 pm. This month I didn't need it because I surged on my own. Good luck to you!

I didn't have a choice my DH is Soooooo afraid of needles he couldn't even look! It was like jumping in a cold pool...i kept counting 1, 2, 3 and didn't do it! finally i did haha

You're a lot braver than I am I make DH give me the shots I'm too much of a chicken to do it myself

Thanks everyone! It went well DH had a great sample.

DH was a little sad when the nurse asked if this was our first IUI...he thought it was a done deal and it would work the first time!

He came yesterday but not today he had to get back to work!

quick question about the progesterone-crinone- They made it seem like i only had to do one in the am..but when i got home i have two boxes of 15?

do you know if we do one or 2?

I have the regular 400 mg progesterone suppositories not the crinone.... I use 1 at bedtime. But the bottle contains enough for 2 cycles (30 days). Maybe they need to give you a 30 day supply that's why you ended upp with 2 boxes? To confirm, send Dr B an e-mail, he's very good at responding.

Im sure its just one then...its probably enough for 2 cycles....she explained it really well today I am sure she would have said 2.

It's my second IUI cycle.... I'm hoping that it will work this time around. They told me yesterday that my DH gaave a great specimen as well! Maybe yesterday was a lucky day for both of us!
