I cannot imagine. It's so hard to raise 2 kids. Then add a child with special needs. You really don't need this added stress.

Diane, I am so sorry to hear you are going through this. Can you take a small break? Can he watch the kids on a sunday for you so you can go out and just shop or get a mani/pedi by YOURSELF. You sound very overwhelmed. Dont make any rash decision while you are upset. Take it one day at a time. See what tommorrow brings. Tell him what you need from him to make things better. i was so overwhelmed when dd was born from working, cleaning house, taking care of all dd's needs etc....
I am in a clinical office with a co SWer and she told me to make lists. i thought she was crazy and that it was ALOT of work for me. For the time it takes to create these lists, it will alleviate some of the pressures already put on you. Let him do baths, let him cook/clean, let him be involved. he has to. its not a one man show. The snide remarks about weight or other BS.....well thats just gotta STOP...point blank. Tell him its NOT OKAY! Again sorry to hear. if you need anything feel free to FM.

So sorry to hear you are going thru all this.. that is terrible that he speaks to you like that. You absolutely do not deserve that at all!! 
I kno its overwhelming thinking about the single mom thing, my DH is mentally ill and i'm pretty much forced to do the single mom thing and its not easy. I really dont have any advice other than agreeing with the comment on counseling if he will go? I think you should try that, and see how that goes. I hope and pray your marriage can be saved. If you ever need to talk, FM me. Take care of yourself. And your DC's..

Sorry to read this! I have a coworker who has a boy with autism/bipolar disorder, and her other son has issues with OCD. Her autistic child requires so much care and her husband got tired of dealing with it so he left. He now lives on a mountain in a cabin in Kansas somewhere with his 25 yr old girlfriend. Nice right..
Part of why your husband is acting this way I bet is because of the attention you give your kids and not him; and probably because you have a child with a disability. I think its always hard for men to accept they have a child that isnt normal.
It was rough at first for my coworker being a single mom with 2 kids; but you know what..she does just fine.
the way he's talking to you is unacceptable. I doubt your husband is perfect...no one is.
have you tried counselling? If not together, have you considered going for yourself. It might do you some good just to talk to someone neutral.

So sorry that you are feeling unhappy....you are crying out for help but I am not sure what kind you want? Do you think this marriage can be saved? If $$$ was not a problem would you leave tomorrow? Tough questions I know......but worthy of some thought so you can do what needs to be done. The nastiness and appearance comments are just completely unacceptable...words can really hurt! Have you told him how this makes you feel? When you do speak to him about issues it is always helpful to say "I feel" For example "I feel so sad when you make comments about my weight" The" I Feel " is a tehnique I leanred in college during a class on conflict resolution.
Offering up prayers for you to have the wisdom and strength to know how to handle this.

YOUR happiness matters. Those things you w rote made my heart break. Dont LET him talk to you that way. You are a strong beautiful woman and an amazing Mother. Have you tried counseling? Even if he won't go...you alone?
I'm in no place to offer advice, just hope that you realize how great you are and get through this,w hatever end result it may be.
