Are you self-employed or own a business that pays wages in NYC, Rockland, Nassau, Suffolk, Orange, Putnam, Dutchess, or Westchester?

I live out on the North Fork where we have 1 train at night and 1 in the morning... none of our employees take the train or buses yet we owe that stupid tax too. It is INCREDIBLY unfair!

This tax is BS. Seriously, if this has anything to do with the mismanaged budget in the MTA I wouldn't be surprised.
So corrupt!!!!!!!

Oh, it has everything to do with that.
There are a lot of people steamed about this. And it's not just the tax, but all the extra paperwork that comes with it since they also require quarterly estimates.

I want to know exactly WHEN the government is going to take some control over the MTA.
They are always short, issues with budget, cutting services and raising fares. And they still spend millions on paying people to do the same jobs. Just another example of how the little guys get burned!!!!!!!
