IUI Questions
Hi! I'm a regular poster but am in hiding for privacy reasons.
I have some question on an IUI that I did yesterday, and I know that you ladies will be able to help me.
First, some background:
- I am 34, DH is 37, TTC 3 years. This is our first IUI. Previously we have been doing timed intercourse, (ovulation kits, cbefm, temping, RE Monitoring).
- DH has some morphology and motility issues.
- I took a half dose of Clomid - days 3 thru 7 and produced 2 mature follicles - one in each ovary and my lining was great.
- I got a peak on Wednesday morning and ovulated yesterday.
- They were only able to use 1 million sperm for the IUI.
- We also had intercourse last night.
Here are my questions:
1. Have you ever heard of any success stories with the above parameters?
2. Do I have to go back for another appointment for bloodwork or do I just wait for my period?
3. Is there anything that can be done to improve morphology? I've been researching and have come up with nothing.

ok so hear goes...
First, Yes there is stuff that your DH can take to improve his Motility and his Morphology... My new doc just recently told us this and he gave my hubby a whole vitamin regimen to follow and promised it will increase both. (I wish my other docs would have told us this...UGH)
But recently i spoke to another user on here her name is TTC-DL and her hubby used something else (that i think im gonan turn my hubby on to) and he showed drastic improvements.
2nd- I have had 2 unsucesful IUI's and with all of them my DH's count was quite high. 30 million, 40 million and we still had no luck. Statistically they say that you need between 5-10 million to have better results. But thats not to say it wont work.. u only need one right?!
and Finally, every place works differnt. M y old doc used to make me wait the two weeks to see if i got my period. My new doc brings u back in a week for bloods to check ur hormone levels. So just ask ur doc or the nurse how they work.

That's me !! 
Here's MY POST that I gave all my Dh's numbers from before and after taking the Fertilaid and Pycnogenol.
He took 2 FertilAid's a day and 2-100mg pycnogenol's a day (one each in the morning and one each at night)
