Anyone with 1 DC on the fence about #2?
DH and I go back and forth about having another. DS is wonderful and has been fairly easy and we love him to pieces, but parenting has stressed our marriage quite a bit and frankly I just know if I have it in me to go through the newborn, diapers, terrible twos all over again, nor am I sure I want to be pregnant again. We are already spread so thin in terms of time and energy too.
We havent ruled out another, but its going to be at least 2-3 years from now. Anyone else on the fence about it, particularly those who always thought theyd have more than one kid?

I would LOVE to be off the fence and done, but DH wants another...
I don't know when or how, but yes, I guess you could call it that

Yes we are. I think my DH would like another, financially I'm not so sure we could do it. And if we wait 4 more years, it makes it a high risk pregnancy for me. I also had complications with the first and not sure I'm willing to put myself through it again.
I think I would be perfectly happy with one, but I wonder if my DS will miss out having a sibling. It is such a difficult decision.

It so true , I would love for DS to have a sibling but we just dont know if we have it in us and I would hate to have another child if I didnt feel I could give 110%, you know?

I think the only reason I would have another is for DD to have a sibling. I am 35 and needed IVF to get pregnant with DD so I have a feeling she will be an only child. I am an only child and it's not so bad.
