MALE INFERTILITY ISSUE!

Hi all.

TTC almost 2 years getting the run around due to male infertility....DH was on HCG and it raised his SA/morphology but not high enough. yet for IUI...and now ran out of HCG and pharmacy says its in backorder...anyone have any ideas?...We too are DESPERATE!

Did you ask your RE's office if they have any they could lend you until your script arrives? I had to do that a few times and they always had some on hand. Good luck.

What is HCG? Is it a pill or syringe of some sort?

Have you had pharmacies call other pharmacies to see who has it?

With one of my IUI's, I needed Ovidrel. I needed it that nite. I went to 5 Pharmacys...noone had it. Finally I went into a CVS and had them call. I found one about 25 minutes away.........they held it for me.........I drove there and got it.

If its anything like that, pharmacies will call other pharmacies to see who has it in stock.


ETA: On a sidenote, I have read positive things on FertilAid for Men........have your DH take it for a few months and see if there is an improvement. I know it can only be ordered online....its a Pre-Natal/Multivitamin for Men.

thanks...yup its an injection.....trying to get it through the scripts by mail...

I've found many regular pharmacies do not carry it. You need to go through a speciality pharmacy (Schrafts, Freedom, I know there are a couple of others on LI, but I don't know the names since I don't live there)

ETA: Most of these places also will deliver. Freedom will deliver overnight
