worth watching ??? 
dh wants to put it on, but i don't know if i can sit through a 3 hour (or so) movie...

Loved it! There are similarities with Forrest Gump (they have the same writer), but it is a differnt story. I found it really moving and thought provoking. I just sobbed both times I saw it. It also has to be said Brad Pitt never looked hotter

It was MUCH better than I was expecting, the only reason I started watching it was bc I had nothing else to do. BUt I really liked it. I do think that they could have made it little shorter.

I'm a huge Gump fan and wasn't that impressed with Buttons. We went to the movie theater too, sat through it. It was about an hour too long for us!

I couldn't stand this movie. For me, it was way too long, way too slow. I was literally bored watching it. A hot Brad Pitt couldn't even save this one for me.
And I also loved Forrest Gump, but did not like this movie at all.

I agree. Only saw it when it was out in the theatre and cried my eyes out. Really enjoyed it
