What can I bring into Citi Field?

Help? Does anyone know the answer regarding drinks or food? I cannot find it anywhere on the site.

They'll let you bring anything you want - drinks and food are fine. My wife does it all the time when she goes to games with her sister (I'm a Yankee fan!)

you can pretty much bring anything - except obvious alcoholic beverages. they'll search your bag but you shouldn't have a problem with anything.

no glass and no cans - plastic soda bottles are fine!

You can bring in ANY food you want. We always bring food from home when we go. Last time I brought a tote bag full of raspberries, blackberries, strawberries, grapes, apple slices, and popcorn because my fat preggo gut can't stop eating. Chat Icon

In regards to drinks, when we went 2 weeks ago they told me that only SEALED bottles (of water, etc) were allowed. I had my personal water bottle with a spout and he said that he'd do me the favor of not confiscating it because he knew those bottles are a bit pricey, but that not to bring it again - only sealed bottles. Not sure how strict they are, but I did see a lot of opened/half empty water bottles on the various security tables.

Probably because of the people that will try to sneak alcohol into those containers. You know... vodka derivatives.

Thats probably why they want to see the stuff sealed.

I brought in a bottle of water the other day but for some reason it had to be sealed for me to bring it in.
