She is finally here!
My little girl was born on friday...two days before her due date and I couldn't be happier!
My water broke at around 1 in the morning on Friday...I went to the hospital fully expecting to be sent home. I was having contractions but they were tolerable...by 3am it was confirmed my water had indeed broken and I was about 1 centimeter dialated...by 5am I was ready to twist metal the contractions were coming so fast...I had an epidural and was able to sleep most of the day...labor stalled at 4 centimeters her head would not come down and at 7pm my doctor called for a C-section. I was relieved because by this time I was exhausted and had a fever.
Jadelyn Mikayla was born at 8:32 pm...6lbs 13oz 20 inches...I will post a more detailed story later. Recovery is not the greatest but she is worth it all!! The staff at LIJ hospital is absolutely amazing!!!
