I know I dont post much but........
I just tested about 1 hr ago and got a BFP!
I'm in shock and disbelief over here
How long do you wait before you see the gyn for blood tests?
They have me in June 29th.... they said 2 weeks to wait for blood work
Does this sound right?

i went for my first blood test 3 days after I got BFP. a few days later i had another to make sure the levels were doubling.
my current dr. wouldnt send me for a blood test right away. i was freaking. my old gyn whom im in touch with sent me the script andi went to the hospital lab. the 2nd test my current dr. sent me for and one after.
they wouldnt even see me until 8-10 weeks and by the time i got an appt i was already 11weeks.
so your office's policy might be 2 weeks to wait for blood tests. i know its hard to wait, but if you feel better, take home tests every day, every other day and you'll see the line darkening.

Does this sound right?
My doc never sent me for blood work to confirm  When I called with my BFP they wouldn't see me until I was about 7-8 weeks along. They then did an u/s.

Congrats! When I was prego with DS they had me come in immediately for bloodwork to check my levels and then again a few days later to make sure they were on the rise. I didn't see the Dr. until 8 weeks.

Congratulations!
I went for my blood tests when I was 8w - my ob doesn't see you at all before then.
I had some spotting so I went in 10 days earlier but, they just did an ultrasound there and no bloodwork.

My doctor won't see me for 7-8 weeks either. my appt is JUne 25th...Its a long hard wait! I asked about a blood test and they said if the HPT said yes then Yes it is! lol so now I just have to wait...
