Weekend weather forecast to hit 80s

It may be a month until Memorial Day, but forecasters at the National Weather Service predict New Yorkers will get their first taste of beach weather this year starting Saturday.
Temperatures are expected to soar into the low 80s Saturday -- and, potentially, into the mid-to-high 80s on Sunday.
Late Sunday afternoon could bring thunderstorms.
However, forecasters said the chance of those storms is just 20 percent, adding there is a good chance we could go without rain until Tuesday.
