Recommend your Holistic Dry Dog Food
I just can't find one Teemu likes. I really want to keep him on holistic food, but I am running low on choices. I might try Candidae again, unless someone has a different choice. He liked Merrick for a good 7 months, and then one day decided he was over it. I have tried Wellness, Wellness Core, Innova, Candidae, Nutro Natural. Any other suggestions? I really just want a food he is excited for that is also natural. Anyone else have this problem with holistic foods?

I used to use Solid Gold and Rocco loved it. Then I was informed on here that its not the best so I switched to Wellness Core and he loves that too. He's a fatty so I think he would eat whatever given to him (Except of course the prescription diet food I was told to put him on. He wont touch it )

We tried soooo many hollistic foods. Neither of my dogs would eat it. I would have to mix it with wet food and i hated doing that. We tried Health Extension and they LOVED it!!!! They have been eating it for months now and not 1 problem. my big guy has colitis and needs plenty of fiber. I no longer have to buy prescription food to mix in with his food. My mom's dogs are on it too. What a change in them since we started this food too. Their coat, their behavior.

what about california natural or eagle pack (i haven't tried these...i just switched to innova...wellness didn't agree with my pups!)

Both of our dogs are on Verus. The older one couldn't handle the Innova, so the woman at the store told us the Verus is really good for dogs with sensitive stomachs. It's been about 6 months and we haven't had any problems!

do you think you are giving him enough time to get adjusted to new food? it takes quite a while - you should actually be incorporating just a few kibbles mixed with the old food each night until you gradually get the dog to a full bowl of new food.
so while you might think he is being fussy, it might be upsetting his stomach if you're switching him too fast.
just a thought... good luck 
oh and ps. i also recommend health extension
