Re: Intro Thread

Just wanted to let you all know that we had a baby boy, born March 28th!

He was 2 weeks early, no health problems and weighed 6lb 10oz

After 8 years of marriage and luckily just one IVF we conceived him.

We used LI IVF Kenigsberg and Brenner. We were extrememly happy with our entire experience there.

I will also recommend our OB, Dr. Lustberg.

Good luck to everyone. Chat Icon

RE: Dr. Trivax - RSofNY

Infertility Diagnosis: Male Factor - poor morphology

ART methods used/result: DH had a bilateral variocele ligation...looking into IVF

Any other children (if yes, how conceived): Two boys...chihuahuas that is...7 years, Gotti, and 3 years, Baxter, and i love them to death!

I'd like to add: I def. was NOT expecting infertility to be a part of our TTC journey, but then i guess most people don't. I pray that it is quick and i thank all of you ladies in advance for your kind words and thoughts.

**UPDATE: 4/26**
Background: (Summer 2010) We were told by 2 dr.'s that we would have very little chance of ever getting pregnant on our own due to DH's morphology (0%). I had many tests and bloodowrk and told I was fine.

(Dec. 2010) We got pregnant on our own in Dec. 2010, which ended up being chemical. We lost our miracle that we thought we would never have on our own.

(January 2011) DH had bilaterial varicocele surgery in which was to take at least 3 months to begin to take effect. We continued trying on our own.

(February 2011) We decided to see a new RE and begin looking into IVF. We went to the RE and found out I also had progesterone issues (which the other RE never mentioned). I started taking progesterone supplements immediately. Well, I got pregnant naturally on that same cycle. Another yet unexplainable miracle. We are so thankful for this wonderful gift.

(April 2011) I am currently almost 11 weeks pregnant and doing great! Estimated due date is November 17, 2011. We went to get DH's 3 month follow up SA and there was very little improvement (morphology went from 0% to 1%) So, I will say that this pregnancy is nothing short of a miracle that I thank God for everyday.

(December 2011)
Our little girl is a stastical miracle, from her conception to birth. She was born on her due date, 11/17/11, which is about a 5% chance. She is 5 weeks old now and we are in amazement everday. We are so blessed and love her so very much.
