Mom was VERY surprised. She thought we were waiting til I got tenure. We were all sitting at dinner, pretty much done eating. I brought over a bag with a onesie in it that says "50% Mommy, 50% Daddy, 100% Yankee fan." The second my mom took the onesie out of the bag, she hadn't even read it - my sis goes "I KNEW IT!" and my mom jumped up and yelled...nearly blew out my ear drums. "OOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!" If you could only hear my impression. On the way there I was doing my impression for Brett to tell him what to expect. My nieces and nephews were SO excited- that was the best part!
