Food Aversions??
So weird but every time i think or see mac n cheese or pizza i gag. I mean is that normal. i ate mac and cheese the other night and was fine, but now everytime i think of it i want to puke!

Until about 16 weeks, i could not stand the even the sight of poultry, and if I smelled it I had to leave the room. Thing is, I don't eat red meat or pork so all I basically eat is chicken. I drank alot of protein shakes to make up for it.
It will go away eventually.

I could live on it. And since I am losing weight from food aversions, I am giving myself free reign on any foods off limits pre-PG because of calorie content!

I'm almost 18w and any kind of poultry (cooked or not) makes me gag ........
And for some odd reason I can not eat hamburgers .........
I can eat ground beef - meatballs, chili, tacos .........just no burgers

I had a pizza aversion for a while too!!! And one time I ate an entire box of Mac n Cheese by myself and I got really disgusted with it and I couldn't have it for weeks!!! lol I also didn't eat any meat for a few months! Pregnancy does some strange stuff to you!!! lol

when i had my bad MS i would crave mac and cheese...kraft from the box..but i would gag if i even thought about or saw easy mac...lol i couldnt figure that one out...same thing happened with ramen noodles...i would crave the one in the bag..but i would gag over cup of soup...beats me...the baby wants what the baby wants i guess.

At the beginning i was CRAViNG macaroni and cheese. Not so much any more.
As for aversions, I can't stand lettuce! its so weird. I used to have salad for lunch and now i can't.

Completely normal!! Food that I loved, repulsed me once I was PG. All my Aversions went away at about 4 1/2 months.

omg my aunt said the same thing when she was pregnant with her daughter...lettuce repulsed her!! now her daughter has a strange obsession with salads...she loveeeeeeeeees salad more than any child or even adult ive ever known... but when my aunt was pregnant with her son...she could eat salad all the time..but now she cant get her son to even taste a yummy leaf!!! these kids def do strange things to us!

what I find odd is, I was addicted to this certain type of hummus for the last few weeks- now the thought of it makes me ill. Also, I just ate this soup I've been having for ages...and it just made me feel gross. UGH. All I want is COOKIES COOKIES COOKIES! And candy too!

Mine come and go. I had a chinese food thing for a while and I couldn't even think of it. Tonight I ate it and I loved it.
BBQ food, like pulled pork, is my new thing. I don't even like the thought of it.
I had a pizza aversion for about a week. Thank god that is gone. I love Pizza.
I also love eggs. Always have. But, the thought of an egg over easy is turning my tummy. And that is my favorite way to eat them. I can really only eat them hardboiled for now.

Totally normal. I've had aversions. My whole 1st trimesters I couldn't even SMELL anything sweet or sugary (cookies, cakes, etc.). There was a period I felt that way about beed and lived off of just chicken for a few weeks. I went through a few weeks of having to gag down veggies too.
