zantac
DS is 8wks and Dr, said he has acid reflux. I am to give him 1/4 tsp of mylanta after each feeding and two doses of zantac a day. How soon did you see an improvement once meds started, He was a happy baby and then this all of the sudden.
mommy is going crazy with the constant crying. Just started meds this evening.

i saw results from the zantac within 24 hours. Never did the mylanta.

I started DS on zantac at 5 wks, it took a couple days to really see the difference. but it really does help.

Great, how long did your DR say your child would be on the meds?

my doctor said that by 6 months, the reflux goes away in most babies since their systems are more developed.

DS started Zantac at about 4 months. Within about 2 days he was doing soooo mcuh better. He was on it until 12 months.
