I feel very alone.

so my mother and i used to be really close, but ever since i got a divorce which was a long time ago, we have not been that close. See after my divorce a wonderful man came into my life, and we fell in love. My mom has never given him a chance, and tells me all the time that she hates him, and that he is a loser. And hes not. he is wonderul. the love of my life. I had a M/C 8 weeks ago. i was 20w 2d, and since that its been alot worse. We got engaged, and she is mad about us having a big wedding i dont think 100pp is big. But my FH has never been married. My FH and she got into a fight and he yelled at her, and then she refused to speak to him, so he called and appologized but thats not good enough. now i am not innocent by any stretch of the means, i get mad, and i curse but she is the only person that makes me this way. Saturday she and i had a great day and i thought that this was gonna be great. well today i called her, and she flipped out that i didnt go to dinner at her house yesterday meanwhile she never mentioned it to me. and she said i should just assume that every sunday is dinner at her house. and she got mad thta i had MY DOG groomed at another place, and said that i keep him away from her deliberately. I dont. i swear. how can u have a relationship with someone that never things they are wrong. i feel like i dont have a mother.

I completely understand!! and in some ways I can relate! it sounds like your mom might think you're a mindreader (i.e. missing Sunday dinner), there might be some miscommunication going on, and sometimes that makes it really easy for each party to get defensive/upset with each other. maybe you need to tell your mom how you feel but don't be afraid to get emotional (I'm sooooo guilty of being the "strong" one in my family, I never crack in front of my sister or mom, I hate feeling vulnerable since I've always been the "rock" in my family). not sure if my advice is actually helpful in your situation, but all I can say is, keep your head up, enjoy being with the man you love and plan the wedding that you both want to have. good luck with everything! hope things get better with your mom!!

I can somewhat relate. Sorry you are going through this. You are not alone because we are all here for you. We all know what it's like to go through this.

She sounds really irrational. You need to sit down with her and lay it on the line. You're an adult now - you deserve to be treated with more respect.

so sorry that you have to deal with all this...do u mind if i ask how you had your mc? i had mine at 20 weeks in Jan. they're not sure if its bc of a IC or an infections....
