Anyone make their DC avocado?
Hi!... Was planning on introducing avocado tomorrow and was wondering how you went about saving the rest of it? Do I freeze it, refriderate it? How long until it goes bad? I need to feed DD avocado three days straight twice a day as per doc.... Thanks!

I wouldn't freeze it, but that's just me. I'd add a little bit of lemon or lime juice to keep it fresh. Definitely follow your ped's. advice on waiting three days.

It does not keep well. If you wrap it really tightly in saran you have a better shot at keeping it. DD love avocado, tomato and cream cheese sandwiches.

I would give Troy 1/2 at a time. I initially was only going to give 1/4, but he loved it so I gave 1/2. I gave him the other 1/2 the next day.
On other occasions, I have given him 1/2 and used the rest myself on a salad for lunch (that same day).
