Where shoudl I go to dinner?
My husband is taking me out tonight. Preferably Suffolk..around Smithtown, St. James, etc. We like fine dining, no chains. TIA!

This place actually isn't that expensive and not such a romantic atmosphere.. but Kirian Habachi (it's like gasho's but better) in st james.. is VERY GOOD.. and fun

Old Dock Inn. We went there for my parent's anniversary and had a delicious meal and it wasn't sign your life away expensive. Service was great too.

I agree! The sushi was great! I had the Millenium Lobster and it was pretty awesome!

im sorry but I thought this place was a hole  we eat out at fancy restaurants a lot though (well, before the baby)

kitchen a bistro in St. James
a tiny 20 seat BYOB/ cash only place with great food. definitely call ahead and see if they're booked, since it's a fri night.

I'd have to say Union Station! It's just a few buildings down from H2O....
We've been there quite a few times.......and never had a bad dinner or service. The FILET is like butter........it just melts in your mouth.
