I don't understand how puppy mills and pet stores continue to thrive - except people prefer to live their life with blinders on...

Thank you Kara. I don't understand how people can let children and animals suffer. Being the product of an abusive childhood/broken home my animals were me and my siblings only source of comfort. I rescued Charlemagne and I feel like I let him down because I ultimately could not save his life BUT I will be damned if I let another person go through what me and Charlemagne went through. I have to do something. He made me a better person. I hope others will heed my warning.

 please know that you did not let him down, you are his voice and I am sure he would be so honored to call you his mom due to all you are doing to stop this

I am so sorry for your devastating loss
Thank you for taking this and doing something positive for animals
Puppy mills are heartbreaking, and I wish people would join together and stop them for good.
