It's me again..anyone have any feelings about Bethpage? Curious about school district, safe, great place to raise family, "community feel"..etc, THANKS SO MUCH :)

I work in Bethpage & know many people who live there. Between those people & the people I service at work, I know what a great "Community" feel it has!!!!

I live there! We moved here in May and really like it. From what I hear the schools are great. I live in the north part near the Plainview border and everyone takes very good car eof there homes, and there is a nice sense of community. Its one of the first things we noticed when we started looking here.

We just bought a house there, we are on the Bethpage/Plainview Border.
I was also brought up there and graduated from that School District and it is very good!!

Which school district did everyone go to ?
I am going to move in with MIL in Bethpage and she is in the Island Trees district.
I did not grow up here so I am still learning about what schools are good and which ones aren't.

My DH grew up in Bethpage went to Bethpage school.
I grew up on Levittown. Went to Island Trees.
Both are good areas and good schools.

I grew up in Bethpage, went to school there and pretty much just recently left to one town over.
I loved it there...SD is good....esp since my sis teaches at one of them.
Taxes tend to be more reasonable due to Northrop Grumman, a plus.
