sex???
i'm 16 weeks now. do you think it's safe to have sex? i read that the first trimester and early 2nd trimester you should refrain. i was going to call good ole doc today but he doesnt have office hrs. so i figured i'd ask ya'll...

I never heard anything about it being unsafe.... The only time you should refrain is if your doc tells you that you need to not have any... or if you have any bleeding after sex......

My Dr. told me to wait until 2nd trimester because I was bleeding after! Otherwise, I think that it's fine!

Ditto. If you should wait, my doctor never mentioned it to me. I has an incident of severe bleeding early on too, and they never asked me if we had done the nasty.

My doctor said the same thing. No reason to refrain at all.

I had s*x till the end. I even had s*x while I was in early labor. I am a firm believer in keeping your cervix contracting with those big O's! LOL
