Anyone ever been to the Blue Point Brewery?
Heading to Long Island next weekend and my Dad came up with the idea of heading to the Blue Point Brewery.
Their website doesnt have a ton of information about visiting.
Is there a tour? Free beer?

A lot of my friends go there all the time. They all say it is a good time. Sadly I have never been there.

I have
All samples are free, except their special beers which are $1 each
YOu get little plastic cups and there is a very small bar
Be warned - its crowded on weekends. People go to get drunk for free
Not sure about tours. Its a really small facility....

I've been there. You can try samples in small cups for free or you can purchase pints. It is small, just a bar, bench and about 2 tables inside. I don't remember them serving food, so don't go on an empty stomach. And like an above poster said, it gets crowded on the weekends. They do tours, I choose not to since I've been to bigger breweries and after 1 it is all the same.

I had my boyfriends 30th birthday there last year...everyone thought it was really a great time, as did I. I am not sure about tours and stuff, but we have eaten there, the food was good. We were in a seperate room, the downstairs was packed though....have fun!

I was at this party. It was fun and the food was good. It's more of a bar than anything else. They have a restaurant too. They have a TON of different beers. So if you're a beer drinker you will love it!!
