for those that take colace...
or a colace type generic. how much do you take, do you take it everyday, do you go to the bathroom everyday?

I take 2 Colace pills every night with my vitamin. I go to the bathroom everyday now which I was never in my life able to do. They are a lifesaver!!

I take the generic, twice a day (am & pm). It isn't a laxative, it is a stool softner. So my bowel movements are more dependent on what I eat. Usually every day or every other.

I take the generic CVS brand. I take 3 before bed at night (my GI doctor said that's the best time to take them).

when I was on my Zofran Pump I took 2 colace pills a night with my vitamin. Now that I am off I take one pill every other day. I do go every moring.
ETA: they have colace with a laxitive on them. I just take the stool softner.
