End of the year Bonus
how are you going to spend yours?
I think I am going to surprise DH and buy a Visa giftcard, give it to him for his graduation so he can get his TV.
I think I will lie about how much I got. hehe...he will hate my boss for 6 months.

Considering mine are sooooooo bad I'd be lucky if I could buy one gift with it.
I've never heard of a company with worse bonus' then mine.

 The first year I was here, the holiday right after 9/11 my bonus was $64, take home ended up being like $36. I laughed at my boss when they gave it to me. I said if you need it that bad, you should keep it.

I guess I'm lucky to take home my piddly $130. I've been at my job for 5 1/2 years and work for one of the top 2 people in my office...but they dont care about any of that ...the firm is CHEAP

Actually, what my company does, is, if you dont use all your sick days, (unplanned absences) we are closed Christmas week and the "bonus" is, you get paid for the week. They dont touch your time! Its 5 "Freebie" Days

I get diddly as well. Nothing at all except a lot of work thrown on my desk.
I always get so mad at my friend when she complains about her year end bonus. At least she gets something

My MIL is an exec asst at JP Morgan, her bonus was like 16k ... an assistant bonus that is 16k! I should have went into financial

we complain because we are not getting any!! I wish they gave teachers bonuses- something.
my friend's husband works in finance and his binus is RIDICULOUS!!! I am happy for her but I only wish that money was coming my way!!
I made the mistake one year of telling the kids i like the color green and candles. I received 15 green candles that year

We get the added bonus of higher stress and longer work hours.
It's the great 'end of the year push.' They want all open projects closed so they can invoice before the end of the year so it closes on this year's books.
UGH.

Considering the size of my company and the position I hold... my bonus is piss-poor.
But I have come to realize that the benefits at my job absolutely blow. The tradeoff to bad benefits are a good place to work, a great boss, and decent raises so I don't mind.
