Moses basket????
Anyone getting a Moses basket? I dont know what I would use it for really.....

I had one for my DS - we used it for the first month, then he went into his crib.
It was great - our bedroom is on the small side, we kept it on top of our dresser. It was perfect. There was no way a bassinet would fit in our room with our furniture.
We would also pick it up and bring it in the living room during the day.

I love it! My friend says they are the only way to go but I got a bassinet that has the top that lifts off just like a Moses basket. I hope that will work.

new mom here-i have one and i LOVE it! she can take a nap anywhere and if she is asleep in it i can bring it to any room. she even sleeps in it at night while it's in her bassinette. i know she can't use it forever but for now it's a lifesaver!

I have one on my registry b/c I think they're soooo cute!!! But I was wondering if I really need it. I guess I'll leave it on there for now and see if I get it, and then see if I need it after he is born.

I have one and honestly it's on the floor in my bedroom for the cats to sleep in! Maybe the one I got isn't well-made, b/c the handles fall inside the basket part and I don't like how they lay on top of DD so I don't use it. I definitely like the concept of one, but mine is not useful.

We can move our bassinet around like a moses basket. But we've never done it.
I do think the moses baskets are beautiful though.
