Pre Prenatal Vitamins?
Hi All,
My DH and I are planning on TTC at the end of this summer (July/August).
I have been taking Women's Once A Day Vitamin which contains 800 mcg of folic acid since January.
Should I switch to a prenatal vitamin now? My OB/GYN said the vitamin I was taking now was sufficient, but I'm not so sure.
Any thoughts? Any OTC ones I should try?

From the docotrs I talked to, they said not to switch until you are pregnant. You never know how long your TTC journey will be. As long as you're getting Folic Acid, that's all that matters.

My doctor did prescribe the prenatals but there really is not a huge difference and as long as you get folic acid, you are fine.

Now my doctor prescribed me prenatals and said I should be taking them 4 months prior to ttc.
If your doctor said it's fine then it's fine.
