Homeowners insurance
Who does everyone have for homeowners insurance? I am currently researching and most companies have left ny and charge a Lot more money!

Thats who we have gotten the best rate from so far. I have called geico, allstate, and met life and they all pulled out of NY!

We have Traveler's. They gave us the best rates for the most comprehensive coverage.

Nationwide, but we only got the policy because we have pre-existing policies through them. They aren't accepting any more NY policies

Statefarm was the lowest. Still we pay $1300 or so a year and others on here pay way less.

Statefarm.
I called LIbery Mutual (including a Hofstra Discount) and it was like $500 more per year (their hurricane deductible was way higher)

We have Kemper. We have them for our homeowners, car, umbrella & my rings. All three cost us $3200, but our homeowners is only $800. State Farm was more money than Kemper--we went through a local insurance agent.
