Sorry, just saw this! I loved it! Quick read and I thought the story was beautiful.
I just finished this and did a search to see if anyone else read it.
And I agree with jlm2008. Beautifully written as well. Highly recommend it to anyone.

Just finished both the Midwifes Revolt and What She Left Behind, this week. Midwifes revolt was good, slow and then picked up, then slow again and picked up at the end. Loved What She Left Behind though.
Starting Finding Emma by Steema Holmes tonight.

Last week, I read Thirteen Reasons Why and Finding Emma, they were both - eh.
Starting The Martian, tonight. Saw a trailer for the movie and it looked good, so I figured Id read the book first.

"The Precious One" by Marisa de Los Santos
Just finished the new Elin Hildebrand book, "The Rumor". I normally love her books, and while I enjoyed this one, it wasn't one of my favorites. It seemed to lack the emotional depth of some of her previous work, and it wasn't really a page-turner for me, either.

I LOVE Tarryn Fisher writing. Mud Vein is one of my favorite books. I've read the Opportunist, Dirty Red and Thief. All three read as a continuation of one story line but each book is from a different character POV.
