what size tv for a 12x12 room?

what do you think is a good size?

and also, how much would you pay?

oh ok, i was going to say 32" but thought that would be too small!

ETA: as im reading, bigger than 32" is what is being suggested... hmm..

You could def. do bigger like 32.
Our playroom has a 40 inch flatscreen and I'm sure it's smaller than 12x12 - closer to 12x9 - but there is no bed in there so it's not as overwhelming, KWIM?

For the record, it was not a playroom when the TV was on the wall. it was essentially our "den"

Our master bedroom is 12x12 and we have a 40inch flatscreen in here. It's a perfect size.

i think that more important than the dimensions of the room, is the viewing distance. in other words, how far will you be sitting from the TV when it's being watched? there are guides which you can find online that tell you approximately what size TV is good from various distances.

Wow. I am in the minority. I would only do 27 or 32 at the absolute max for 12x12

27 to 32 for a "regular" TV. Up to 40 on a flat screen on the wall.

My DH installs them for a living...he said a 46 or 52 but no larger then that... Like $1700 .
