what does FTD on a pay check mean?
Obv YTD is year-to-date...
What is FTD? It's higher than the YTD so I'm assuming it's since the job began. BUT - what the heck does the "F" stand for?

I've seen it referred to as Federal Tax Deposits. Could it be that for you on your check?

we use that here for fiscal year... but I've never seen it on a check before- so not really sure- sorry

Do you work for a school district??
It might be "Fiscal-to-date"...which would be from day one of the Fiscal School Year...usually July 1...to now...
YTD is for the calendar year...
