I started watching because of this post. I realized during the first few minutes that it’s actually based on a novel I read by Caroline Kepnes. There’s a sequel to You as well.
Both are super creepy, but great reads if anyone is interested. The gossip girl guy is playing Joe perfectly!

BOOO!! I was looking forward to it after the week before- that was a crazy episode.
I usually watch it on Thursday or Friday nights after everyone goes to bed and i have alone time.

Same here. But I didn't read the book.
I like Penn Badgley's part. He's super creepy. But I'm not loving the show. Beck is a terrible actress. She's hard to watch. And the storylines are just too far fetched for me.
Although I do like the setting! I'm in NYC a few blocks from that bookstore. Pretty cool to keep seeing the block pop up like that..lol

That was the most exciting part of the episode LOL! I also agree that Beck is horrible, AND she seems way too old to play the part of a graduate student

Funny how we're totally fine that a psycho kills someone off.
I don't think he killed his last gf b/c he met someone at a party with Beck and she said she saw Candace recently (or maybe I'm not remembering correctly).

I finally watched last week's episode last night. I loved it.
I loved how he was going to the therapist pretending to ve talking about hos relationship with "Renaldo" because he thought Beck was sleeping with him. Loved all the flashbacks to how they broke up.
I really am obsessed with this show. And that's saying a lot because I have a hard time getting into most shows
