I might want to start watching it. As my own guilty pleasure, because I know DH will scoff at it.
Sounds like a lifetime movie that they stretched out to a series.
And I love me a good lifetime movie!

I used to LOVE the original with Candance Cameron and Fred Savage was the abusive boyfriend. Shannon Doherty is in the remake as the mom

I remember that original. I didn't realize they were remaking it.
The Bad Seed was a remake as well.

This one was on last Sunday! It was good...I couldn't remember the original, but now I remember it since you mentioned CC and FS!

I have only watched it on their regular channel, and don't remember stuff being muted...but maybe I wasn't paying attention. I did see someone ask on their FB page if there is a place to find the "unedited" version of the show...I didn't see an answer. So maybe it IS muted? I'll have to pay attention when I watch it tomorrow night

They def don’t mute out the bad words
I was kinda shocked at what is ok to say nowadays lol

The very first episode that was on, I watched on my dvr and they said the F word...twice! On Lifetime! I was shocked!!!
But I haven't noticed any other bad words, maybe the brown word here and there. I DVR the first run.

So when I watched it on lifetme.com they defintiely muted out the F word, they even muted out part of his text message where he said something sexually suggestive (Not a curse, just sexual) and they BLURRED it out of the text message that popped up on the screen.
But I think the first episode is free so anyone can watch it- then to watch the others you have to log on with your cable provider log in. So maybe that is why they edited that first episode.

On another note, I am LOVING this. I wasn't sure if I would be able to get into it, but it sucked me right in.
I only had time to watch 2 episodes so far, but I can't wait to watch more.
What a well done, creepy, dark show!
