A lot of places that DH has been interviewing charge full time for watching infants part time.

I think there is a tutor time in Bayside that takes infants.

Tutor time does take infants but they will charge for 5 days even if I only need them for 2 days :(

Part-time is so tough, I had the same issue. We ended up going private. Did you check out this website?
http://www.ocfs.state.ny.us/main/childcare/default.asp
You can search childcare and it will list all licensed places by area.
