XPOST - Looking For a Cleaning Person
Can any of you recommend a good cleaning person (pref. a woman) who would come to my home in Nassau County?
My only "problem" is that I would want this person to come on the weekends because I'm not comfortable with giving anyone a house key.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

I can ask my sister for you. Her cleaning lady lives in queens though, and doesnt have a car. Are you near a train and would pick her up?
she's very nice, does GREAT cleaning, about 10 mom friends all use her.
not sure if this matters, but she's polish and speaks very little english. But she gets her point across. She was even there for my niece's bday towards, the end, helping with cleanup.
She's great with kids too
 she has a young child herself.
very nice person. a mom trying to make an honest living.

hmmm... not sure if I'd want to hire someone without door to door transportation... Thanks for checking into this for me! I'll check it out anyway and see what she says!

oh how cool !
I know the transportation thing is so hard. My sister was heartbroken that she had to run and get the bus that nite, and we wanted to drive her home, but she refused.
Not sure exactly where she lives but possibly Glendale area, I can be wrong, but not far from there.
the transportation shouldnt really be a factor unless youre very far from the station and she'd pay more in a cab than she'd earn for the day. 
or maybe she knows someone.
I would have loved to have her but im in suffolk.
