She sits in the back, my bag sits in the front seat.

Really, DD is almost 13 (2 weeks from tomorrow actually), 5'1", and less than 100 lbs. I don't even know what the law mandates but she's happy in the back and never asks to sit up front; though she does like to sit in the middle of the bench so she can see out the front window.
She sits in the back in Kevin's truck even if I'm not there and sits in the back of BM's car. When they start letting her sit up-front, then I'll follow suit.

SS fits the guidelines for the front seat, but i think the back seat is safer so he'll stay in back with me but front with his mom and dad when no one else is in the car

My stepson is 11- he will be 12 in Oct. My husband and his ex-wife let him sit in the front seat with them but I'm not comfortable with that so when he is with me, he still sits in the back.
