WWYD? Sick kid question
So my MIL from out of town is visting starting tomorrow and so we have plans to be with her and my SIL and kids the whole weekend. Well, I just found out (through facebook no less) that my SIL's son has strep - he's 6. He woke up yesterday with it, she took him to dr and he is on antibiotics. by tomorrow it will be 24 hours. But I am still concerned bc my dd is 2 and seems to catch EVERYTHING and I am also 8 months pregnant and was just in hospital for 3 days about 3 1/2 weeks ago for pneumonia. Oh, and he has a brother that they always seem to pass everything back and fourth to each other.
Would you be ok with being around them or try to avoid it at all cost?

if it were me, being that he has a brother that he could have passed it too, I wouldn't do it. I would think that your MIL will still come and visit your children, kind of split the time. Being that you just had pneumonia, I wouldnt risk it

THIS - and I'd have MIL visit you first so she doens't pass it on to your family.

streps is very contagious..I would pass especially considering that you just got passed an illness

I would definitely pass and if they give you a problem blame your doctor. That is what i used to do!
