Re: WW - online or meetings?

the weekly meetings are good because there is a lecture and some interaction, but online is easier especially if you can not make it to the meetings and getting weighed in. Chat Icon

Personally, I always like the meetings. I enjoyed the lectures and getting tips.

I agree with Lisa...I think the meetings are key to keeping you motivated. Not to mention the weekly weigh-ins Chat Icon

There was something about being able to relate to everyone's story or them being able to relate to you really got me through some times where I really wanted to give up.

Re: WW - online or meetings?

I LOVED the meetings. But I loved them because I had such an awesome leader. She was not only the leader but everyone's friend. We became such good friends with her she and her hubby were invited to our wedding and we spent a weekend with them and a few other friends in Vegas.

My leader was great and if you lost 3 pounds or gained 10 pounds no matter she always made you feel wonderful.

It depends. I can be so lazy and a meeting would just be one more commitment for me. I had success with it online over the summer, so I just started it again. Having to log everything I eat online has been keeping me accountable. Though I know there is something called "e-tools" for people who attend meetings, and there is probably a similar feature.

I'm also in the middle of moving and my job is very stressful. I would blow off the meetings. It's just better for me at this time to do it online. I think you have to think about your own situation. Good luck!

For me the meetings work better because they are in person. I know I wouldnt be doing this well on ww online.

I used to go to the meetings. I need those "counselors' for motivation. I just told DH im thinking of going back. I havent been to WW in a very long time and need more willpower to do it on my own.

Re: WW - online or meetings?

I love going to the meetings - that weigh-in is my motivation to stay within my points range for the week.

Also- I have never had anyone announce what I lost or gained that week. They either show me the screen or they say it really low....
