Honestly, I have never used the self cleaning option. I always clean it myself. So, I guess it wouldn't matter to me.

same here.... so there is one I found that I really love , matches the fridge and DW we want to get, but no self cleaning. They would give us a great deal if we bought all 3 together. So I can't decide

My wolf isn't self cleaning and I don't feel it is an issue because I never have used the self-clean mode on past stoves.

I would not use the self cleaning feature. It basically just heats the oven up to a really high temperature and burns everything off.
It's just easier to clean my oven with oven cleaner.

Honestly I wouldn't. While every once in a great while, I clean the oven by hand, 9 out of 10 times I use the self-clean. I use it at least once a month and love it!

It wouldnt bother me to have a non-self cleaning oven- I clean mine with easy off and its a breeze

My parents have it on their oven and used it once. I honestly don't even know if we have it on ours. I say who cares  it's not necessary.

It wouldn't bother me at all. I never use the self cleaner. My MIL did when we were last at her house and the fumes were so noxious.
