Working moms that have 2 DC
Were you nervous about telling work when you were pregnant with #2? My company was very very supportive with #1. But I am nervous about getting pg with #2 because I will have to be taking so much time off again. They won't give me any trouble, but the guilt is already starting and I am not even pregnant yet.
Was it worse for you telling work about #2? Did you purposely wait to TTC #2 because of work? (so you could space the time off)
I hate this  why can't I just win the lottery

I did not have any guilt whatsoever in telling my company that I was pregnant with #2, nor did my job have any affect on TTC.
The guilt I have is mostly due to the fact that I will have to go back to work again 12 weeks after having #2. I have absolutely no guilty feelings about being gone from my job.

I wasn't nervous at all.. because I hated the job and half hoped they'd fire me. I also knew they were downsizing and my position was in target for elimination.
And they did eliminate my position and lay me off a few weeks later.. but they gave me a nice severance including fully paid medical that I am SURE came as a result of knowing I was pregnant.

I agree. I mean there was that twinge at first, but they were REALLY supportive. I was even sat down and told to take off all the time I needed while pregnant and when I extended my leave, they were still supportive and happy I was still coming back.

You should not be nervous. You are entitled to maternity leave (I think it is 1x a year).
The fact that you feel nervous only shows what a dedicated employee you are. They will figure things out when you are gone.

Not nervous, per se, but definitely braced for "funny" comments. I work in a male dominated field so I'm used to it.
However, it did not stop me from TTC and it won't stop me from taking my maternity leave.
