Windows, Siding and Roof- Recommendations?
Hi All,
So this year will be a big exterior renovations for us. Hopefully this is the month for winter savings.
Do you have recommendations for window replacement, vinyl siding installations and roofers? Can you also tell me your experience with them and if you don't mind what they had charged you. I have two companies coming this weekend for quotes, so wanted to know what I should expect.

I just got roof estimates for my cape w/ attached garage and they range from $5000 ~ $7100.
We had a siding estimate (just to see what we're in for next year) and it was $7000.
Thankfully, our windows don't need to be replaced. Yet.

I love my contractor, his prices were the best and his work is quality. We are in the process of redoing the whole house, he has been our contractor every step of the way. The best thing about him is that he does all the work with himself and his crew, unless it is something that is a speciality like pluming or electric. His name is Danny and his company is Excell Homes 631-445-9114

If you don't mind me asking, around how much did all that work run you? Did they have a special for you since you did it in Jan?

I have Eastsiders and King Quality coming this weekend.

We used All Pro for new windows, new front door, and new siding. So far we are happy with them.

We used Sears for the windows we got. They were great and the warranty cannot be beat.

Tom Morse, he does roofing, siding and windows. Very reasonably priced and my DH works with his wife. He did my windows and roof, and my inlaws siding.
If you do a search on the boards, I have posted his phone number before.

I used Total Home Construction in Plainview for my siding, windows, door and roofing a couple years ago. I had a great experience and highly recommend them. My aunt used them last year and had a great experience as well. By far not the cheapest quote we got but well worth the extra money.
